Introduction
Doreen R. Howson
Good day! My name is Doreen Howson, and I a senior manager in the New York State University System, employed at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York. I am working on completing my doctoral degree in Business Administration at Montemorelos University. My passion is and has always been helping and leading others to achieve their goals and objectives. Pursuing this terminal degree, will provide me the opportunity to be an effective leader by way of inspiring others to aspire. I desire to give back to others some of what God so graciously given to me.
Mission
To be a servant of God and blessing to my fellowmen. To inspire to aspire, energize, connect with, and prepare others to have faith in conceivable outcomes.
Vision
To affect the life of each individual I meet and empower anyone and everyone I communicate with each day. To help other people live lives not just for the here and now, but also in expectation of eternity.
Philosophy
To be alive in this 21st Century has remarkable challenges and opportunities. To educate and to be educated is the foundation of success. Education pulls people up out of the dungeons of life and place them on the road to success incomprehensible. I believe and accept that I was placed on this planet to be a blessing to someone. There are no restrictions except the limitations placed on oneself; because “Higher than the highest human thoughts can reach is God’s ideal. . . .” I believe that whatever my hands find to do, I should do it with all my might, not just for the benefit of self, but that will bring honor and glory to God and be a blessing to my fellowmen. Additionally, I believe that helping others to reach desired objectives, will not only please my Heavenly Father, but it will bring blessings to my off springs and me. To have an uplifting and positive outlook and to motivate others to do the same is one endeavor I strive to achieve.
